7 Workouts You Can Do At Home

When you’re at home you might think you can’t get a good workout in because you don’t have the same equipment that the gym has, or you just don’t have equipment at all. That is far from true!! Working out at home can also be very beneficial and lead you to feel fulfilled. We wanted to provide you all with some workouts you can do comfortably at home and all you need is some open space and yourself.

  1. Push-Ups
    • This is a classic workout, but there are so many modifications you can do with this. Change your hand placement, put your hands on an elevated surface and even put your hands on a couch or chair to get more of an angle when you are going down.
  2. Planks
    • This is a great exercise for you back and core. You can time yourself and do 30 sec. intervals, and alternate going on your elbows and hands to get a even better burn.
  3. Squat Jumps
    • Get more of a whole body movement going with this exercise. You’ll also get your heart rate up.
  4. Walking Lunges
    • Work your leg muscles along with your stability. Throw a squat in between if you want to work even harder.
  5. Glute Bridge
    • This work out is a great way to work your butt muscles. Modify this workout by doing single leg raises or even put your feet on a couch or chair to elevate and work harder.
  6. Mountain Climbers
    • This is a great work to engage your core, arms, back and legs. You can play around with this workout by bringing your knees to your elbows, adding a push-up in between and placing your hands on a chair to elevate yourself.
  7. Side Plank with Bent Knees
    • Strengthen your hips and core with this exercise. Straighten out your legs to add difficulty or add a resistance band and lift one leg at a time to feel more of a burn.

These are just a few of many different workouts you can accomplish at home that work one or more body parts. You can always modify your workouts based on how comfortable you feel and if you want to raise difficulty to work yourself even more. Working out at home can be a fun activity, play some music or a movie you enjoy and even ask family members to join you. Working out doesn’t have to be something you dread doing, you can have fun while achieving goals!

Healthy Smoothie Recipes

As much as working out is important to keep us healthy, the food we put into our body plays a big role in this as well. After a workout we may decide we can have something unhealthy to treat ourselves, but that’s not the best choice. It’s important to fuel your body before and after you workout to keep yourself feeling good and energized after burning calories, etc. We decided it would be a wonderful idea to share some different recipes you can all make at home for yourself or even your families to introduce healthier options into your diets!

We can all admit it’s hard to always include fruits and veggies in our diets. Using smoothies as a way in get those vitamins and nutrients into our bodies is the easiest way to do so. Making sure our bodies can take in all the essentials we need is important to keep track of. *NEW* Resistance Bands by Jenny Fit


We are so excited to announce a new product we created to help make workouts even more beneficial! We created our own line of resistance bands to help you all build your muscles. We were planning on releasing this news in the summer, but with everything that is going on and you all having to work out in your own homes we thought now would be the perfect time. This is a wonderful product to add into your routine because you can do a variety of workouts with a resistance band and it has a lot of different benefits.

Meet our Personal Trainer Lukasz!

We wanted to introduce one of our hard working personal trainers Lukasz to you all! Lukasz has always loved fitness and helping others with their fitness goals along with teaching them the best ways to work out. Our whole team is always working hard to help all our customers, but we wanted to honor Lukasz with an Employee of the Month award! During this time we are all living in with COVID-19, and many things in our lives changing, we’ve seen Lukasz step up and give many ideas on what to do to keep everyone motivated along with being eager to help whoever needs it. We appreciate all his hard work and dedication to Jenny Fit and we’re so honored to have him on our team!

Here are some fun facts to get to know Lukasz:

  • Lukasz has played soccer since he was 4 years old
  • He is a student athlete at Benedictine University
  • He is Polish and can fluently speak the language
  • He enjoys running and lifting weights when he is at the gym
  • He has traveled to Spain and Poland to play soccer
  • He loves to workout with his girlfriend and motivate her to achieve her fitness goals
  • He loves coffee and sweets (shhh this is a secret)

We took the time to talk to Lukasz when we had a team meeting and inform him of his award, and we asked him what motivates him to stay fit and work hard. Here is something he shared with us, “Being an athlete my whole life has instilled a lot of determination to always be the best I can and work as hard as possible. I always set goals for myself whether it’s in my soccer career or my fitness career so that I’m always working towards something. Having goals is a great way to stay motivated and feel like you’re working towards something. Soccer is my whole life and in order to achieve my goals and be a great athlete I need to stay in great shape and constantly better myself. I love to do it so working out and playing is never something I dread”.

ANNOUNCING: Virtual Workouts with Jenny Fit

April 16th, 2020

Naperville, Ill- April 16th, 2020- Jenny Fit announced today their new virtual workout class program. In order to promote and share this new program Jenny Fit will be hosting workout classes on their Instagram page twice a week beginning April 16th. These classes will consist of Zumba, HIIT workouts, cardio, yoga and many more.

With the events taking place all around the wold during the Coronavirus, Jenny Fit wants to keep their customers motivated and determined to continue their fitness journey at home even though gyms are closed. They hope that these workout videos can be a distraction for everyone facing these tough times.

Our CEO, Jenny Puchacz and her team have been working hard to keep their company up and running and motivating and communicating with current customers along with new customers. They want to keep everyone positive, hopeful and provide any advice they can. 5 Best Foods to Eat Before Working Out

Preparing your body for a workout is very important. You want to make sure you’re eating the right items so that you feel full and so your body can get it’s full benefits when completing a workout. Here are some options of foods you can eat before heading into your workout!

  • Fruit smoothie

Fruits have simple sugars that are easy for our bodies to digest. Consuming fruits before a workout help give your body the energy it wants before beginning a workout. Some examples could be: pineapple green smoothie, berry banana and oat smoothie and banana oatmeal smoothie and so many more.

  • Greek yogurt with granola and fruit

This is a super quick and easy meal to make for yourself before working out. Fruit and granola help fuel your body with carbs that can be easily digested. This can be a fun recipe to make as well, you can get granola that has oats, nuts etc. and find new types each time you are at the grocery store.

  • Banana with peanut butter and honey

This a great snack to make yourself before the gym because bananas are filled with potassium which benefits your nerve and muscle functions. You can use peanut butter, almond butter or any other type of nut butter you enjoy, just make sure you don’t overdo it. If you want to make this a bit sweeter you can go ahead and add some honey.

  • Energy balls

This can be a fun recipe to make that you can have for a couple of days. They won’t take too much effort since you can find no bake recipes. Here are some examples: peanut butter oatmeal, s’mores, lemon coconut and many more.

  • Granola bars

Everyone loves granola bars because they’re so quick and easy to grab when you’re on the go. You can make your own at home and save some money so you’re not constantly having to buy more and you’re also able to have control over what ingredients are in them. You can add things like oats, dried fruit and seeds to help fuel your body with the best nutrients. Here are some recipes you can follow: banana chocolate chip, coconut, cranberry pecan, chocolate chip and more.

Baking food can always be a lot of fun, so try these recipes with friends and notice a difference in how you feel when you are working out. Networking and Inspiration

Networking and connecting with people is very important when you’re growing a new company. You want to be able to gain connections and learn how you can make your company stronger. This past weekend I was able to attend a meet and greet hosted be Sobiesk Relations. I was able to witness an insane amount of people come out to this meet and greet to meet Zach Levine and a few more NBA players. Sobiesk Relations is a brand that values their clients and wants to help them achieve their goals of signing with the NBA.

This event helped our brand network and meet all types of different people. We were able to connect with players, recruiters and even personal trainers who were all interested in this specific event. Jenny Fit was able to inform people about what our company is all about and even receive some tips and tricks about what we can do to become even better. This event sparked some inspiration in us as well of wanting to host a similar event in the future. We think it would be very exciting to get fitness influencers together to host a workout class in order to help customers learn new workout tricks and meet their favorite influencers as well. We are very excited to see what the future holds for our company, and we’re always going to be working hard to make ourselves better!

Get up and get moving at our motivating workout class!

Here at Jenny Fit we decided it would be a wonderful idea to host a event in order to let people meet our employees who help create the workout plans you all use. We decided to start off locally with the plan to travel to other places and meet the people who we get to help on their journey.



During the event we will have trainers and instructors at all the different stations there to lead classes and help with motivating everyone to see how going to the gym can be fun. Stations will consist of: yoga, zumba, weight lifting, and stretching. There will be a raffle for everyone to win prizes and workout gear as well. We want to make this an exciting and welcoming environment for people to start their journey and see that going to the gym isn’t as hard as it seems. We’re hoping to see you all there and let this be the first of many workout classes to get everyone even more familiar with what Jenny Fit has to offer!

Tips For Beginners Who Are Afraid Of The Gym

Getting started at the gym can be scary and nerve-wracking, but in order to begin you’ll have to get over these fears and push yourself to work hard and accomplish your goals!

  • Bring a buddy

Having someone there to workout with you can make your time at the gym more enjoyable. Since you have a friend with you there is more motivation to work harder because you are both able to push each other. It also helps get your mind off the fear you may have while attending the gym because you’re distracted having fun with your friend.

  • Find the right fit for you

When picking a gym it’s important for you to visit a couple to give you options in order to find the place that feels most comfortable. Visit a gym that your friend attends and do your research so that when you make your decision you are happy and want to get up and go to the gym every chance you get.

  • Avoid busy times

Certain times throughout the day may be very busy at the gym and it can cause you to be more self conscious and restrict you from using some of the equipment you want to use. You may need to test your gym out a few times by going at different times of the day in order to figure out your best chance at having the gym to yourself.

  • Be willing to ask for help

When starting out you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help especially with certain equipment. It may be scary to ask a stranger for help, but it’ll be beneficial for you to learn something new and it makes sure you’re not going to hurt yourself because of using the wrong form.

  • Take it slow

It’s great to be eager when starting off at the gym, but if you’ve never worked out with equipment and weights you’ll want to start off slow to get your body used to these new workouts. Look up videos on YouTube or follow fitness influencers on Instagram to find beginner workouts and this way you’re able to visually see how to do workouts.

  • Join a fitness class

Sometimes switching up your workout routines from always doing the same thing can be fun, but also helpful for your body. Your body gets used to the same workouts so you should change things up in order to keep getting more fit. A lot of the time gyms can offer different classes like zumba, yoga, cycling, boxing and so much more. This can also be a great way to meet new people and distract yourself since you’re doing something different than you’re used to having fun.

What inspired you to start Jenny Fit?

In the past couple of years I’ve been able to grow a passion for exercising and getting myself to feel better about myself. It’s been important to me that I can feel more confident and healthy and working out helped me achieve these feelings. I’ve seen other people online work hard and achieve their goals and I wanted to do the same and inspire others as well. I wanted to start this journey and get others on board to see the changes you can make if you really set your mind to something.

What’s your main goal with starting this brand?

I want to be able to inspire everyone to bring something into their lives that will help make them feel better. It’s a goal of mine to get others to feel confident, healthy and happy because they started something new and have stuck to it. From personal experience getting fit was always a goal of mine, but just like anything else in life the initial start is what may take the longest. I’ve always told others that it may be hard to find the motivation and determination to start, but once you do and you start to feel better it all becomes easier. I hope that I can help show others that you shouldn’t be afraid or unmotivated when it comes to getting fit. You have to push yourself and soon enough you’ll be satisfied you did and you’ll start seeing changes that make you feel happy inside.

How do you plan on getting others on board with your brand?

I want to begin with having workout plans on my page that people can access to start their fitness journey. With these plans beginners and even avid fitness people can incorporate new and beneficial workouts into their routines. We will have our website and Instagram page as outlets to ask questions and find inspirational photos and quotes to get you started on your new path. You’ll be able to check in with our staff and share your stories on what you’ve been able to accomplish with Jenny Fit. We really thrive on helping and supporting you through your journey.
